Meet the staff

Amanda Bina
Amanda joined the practice in 2017 and is primarily found in our North Tama location.  She is a familiar face around the clinic and can be found taking on multiple roles, from ordering to helping tech and everything in between. 
 
Amanda is married to Jason, and they have one son, Wesley.  They have one dog, River, a cat, Theodore, a horse, Joker, a donkey, Jojo, two salamanders, Fergie and Lane, and a Beta Fish named Shrek. 
 
When Amanda is not busy at work, you can find her enjoying camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Wendy Ewoldt
Wendy started in January 2020 and is primarily found in the Keystone location.  Wendy is a friendly face when you walk through the doors in Keystone and is there to help check you in and out. 
 
Wendy has two children, Aly (Lance) and Reese (Brooke) and four grandchildren, Hudsyn, Haelyn, Kohyn, and Easton. 
 
Wendy enjoys socializing with friends when she is not busy with work.

Katie Kullmer
​
​Katie started working for Dr. Knaack in 2017.  Katie can be found in our Keystone location, on the farm, or at the salebarn.  Katie is one of our main small animal techs in Keystone and can also be a friendly face on the farm, helping with chute work.
 
Katie has a three-year-old Golden Retriever named Otter.  Katie has a sister, Ashley, and a four-legged sibling, Raven. 
 
When Katie isn’t busy with work, she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts (especially true crime), cheering on the Cyclones, Vikings, and Cubs, attending concerts/listening to music, and playing cards with family and friends.

Rylie Seaton
​Rylie joined the clinic in 2021 and is primarily found in our Keystone location.  Rylie is one of our main techs and can be found helping with surgeries or caring for the patient during their exams. 
 
Rylie and her husband Dylan have two dogs, Bandit and Rebel.
 
Rylie enjoys walking with the dogs and being with friends and family.

Aubree Heitmann
​Aubree started working for the clinic in 2023 and can primarily be found in our Keystone location.   She recently graduated from Hawkeye Community College and is now working for us full-time assisting the vets.
 
Aubree and her husband Hunter have a dog named Boone.
 
When Aubree isn’t busy with work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Pat Rishel
​
Pat has been working for Tama County Vets for the last 35 years!  She has been with the Traer location, North Tama Veterinary Clinic since 2000.  Pat can be found occasionally in the Traer location, helping with the accounts and or doing random tasks for the practice.  You may also see her at the Tama salebarn helping with health papers.
 
Pat has one son, Justin (Andrea) and two granddaughters, Taylor and Laci.
 
Pat enjoys spending time at wineries with friends, and various arts and crafts, also enjoys antiques and junking.
