THE VETERINARIANS
Dr. KnaackDr. Nicole Knaack is the owner of the Keystone and North Tama Veterinary Clinics. Dr. Knaack enjoys bovine embryo transfer, artificial insemination, and small animal cases. She and her husband live near Traer with three children and a funny farm of animals.

Dr. TernusDr. Katey Ternus hails from La Porte City, Iowa. Dr. Ternus enjoys bovine artificial insemination and our small ruminant patients. She and her husband, son, two dogs and chickens live near Clutier.

Dr. SmithDr. Abbey Smith comes from Adel, Iowa. Dr. Smith enjoys our equine patients and small animal surgeries. She, her husband, and son live near Belle Plaine with three dogs and several sheep.

Dr. SchlesserDr. Kris Schlesser works in our Traer office doing small animal surgeries and appointments. She's very good with our complex medical cases. She and her family live on a cattle farm near Independence.

Dr. ReisdorffDr. Paula Reisdorff will primarily be at our Keystone clinic. She enjoys small animal medicine and surgery. She resides near Dysart with her two daughters. Dr. Reisdorff comes to us from Alabama!

THE STAFF
Arielle Beenken works out of our Traer office answering phones for both clinics and scheduling all of our lives. She is a mastermind at keep both clinics booked and appointments ready to go!
Andrea Behrens is our office manager in Keystone. She can be found keeping things running in Keystone and in Traer. She is the light that keeps us all laughing and positive.
Amanda Bina is a friendly face in our Traer location and takes the reins on daily tasks to ensure they go smoothly. She can be seen doing office work, handling patients, or helping with surgery.

Wendy Ewoldt works out of the Keystone office and is great at talking to clients, getting information, and ensuring the front of the clinic isn't crowded.
Lora Hefty works in our Traer clinic as a technician and brings her years of experience in human medicine to our clinic.
Sarah Hemenway is also answering the phones in Traer. She and her sister Arielle work together to keep our clinics full of patients!
Chloee Kirklin works in our Traer office at the front desk. She's great at getting the patients of the day organized and making sure we are running on schedule.

Katie Kullmer is a true jack of all trades! She can be found helping the veterinarians in an exam room or in a chute. She can be found calling owners or cuddling patients as well!
Deanna Kucera has been a great technician addition and has great experience from her previous tech jobs. She is the quickest to place and IV catheter and can educate clients very well.
Rylie Lathen is our newest tech graduate hihre in Keystone. She can be found working in the clinic with surgeries and appointments, or with Dr. Abbey Smith on horse farm calls.
Pat Wood handles the accounts of the practice. She keeps all the lights on, bills paid, and items on the shelves. She is the most experienced member of the practice as she’s been here the longest.
